Talking after the sentencing, the victim’s brother Greg Simms stated: “We actually did not think this might ever come time. That which we need now is to find Lyn and place her to rest.”

Whenever asked by reporters whether Dawson would reveal her body now’s whereabouts, his attorney Greg Walsh said his client maintained his purity.

This new South Wales government passed guidelines to make it impossible for convicted murderers to be released on parole when they declined to co-operate and expose the positioning of victims’ keeps in October in 2010.
