Police in South Korea have now been expected to research just how private photos of K-pop celebrity Jennie Kim ended up online.

It comes after images shared on Twitter and Telegram appeared to show the Blackpink star dining with V, from fellow K-pop band BTS.
Rumours have now been circulating that the singers are dating.
Blackpink’s management company YG Entertainment said Jennie had faced “personal assaults” and “sexual harassment” because of the leak.
In a declaration, it stated it had asked law enforcement to analyze “the supplier that is original for the pictures, and would take “all feasible legal action without any leniency to prevent further harm in the foreseeable future”.
It included: “Photos that were circulated online were illegally released, no matter what the motives to their rear and without the consent for the individual involved”.
YG additionally asked fans to refrain from sharing the pictures more widely.
Two associated with the reports related to sharing the photographs are suspended.
While YG hasn’t confirmed which pictures it’s talking about, several pictures have spread online that apparently show Jennie and V (real name Kim Tae-hyung) dining together.
One leaker claimed that the pictures had originally been posted for a account that is personal with either Jennie or V writing, “You’re my partner” within the caption.
Other photos purportedly show the couple travelling together, and selfies that are taking matching Winnie-The-Pooh tees.

None associated with the images are explicit, although one head-shot presumably depicts Jennie within the shower.
